Are Blackburn set to sign these two League One players in January?

Blackburn Rovers have had a terrific run in the first half of the League One campaign, as they have managed to accumulate 48 points from 24 games, which has seen them end 2017 in third position in the league table.

Rovers under manager Tony Mowbray have scored 44 goals so far this term and have only conceded 22, which is the third-best defence in the league as things stand.

Despite the flying start to the season that they have had, Rovers are linked with both Devante Cole and Amari’i Bell of Fleetwood Town.

Devante Cole – At 22 the young striker has certainly made his mark in League One, as he has already found the back of the net 10 times this campaign and is amongst the top scorers. Alongside his goalscoring record, he has provided 4 assist for his team, showing he can create goals as well.

With age well and truly on his side, he could be the perfect acquisition for Blackburn as he could go on and have a long spell at Ewood Park and with the way that the club are playing he could be a Championship player next season.

Amari’i Bell – The left fullback has been ever-present for Fleetwood Town in this seasons league campaign and played a major part in the clubs play-off campaign last season. Bell also offers a bit of versatility as he can play in a more attacking role on the left wing, and this has shown as he has 4 goals and 2 assists to his name this season.
